On January 21, 2025, the Board of Directors of Cam Ranh International Port, together with leaders from the Khánh Hòa Provincial People’s Committee, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Khánh Hòa province, ship agents, and travel companies, successfully organized the welcoming ceremony for the 5-star international cruise ship RIVIERA, which arrived at the port with nearly 2,000 passengers and crew members.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of the Khánh Hòa Provincial People’s Committee were Mr. Đinh Văn Thiệu – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Ms. Cung Quỳnh Anh – Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism; Ms. Lê Thị Mỹ Bình – Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Ngô Thị Kim Hoà – Deputy Director of the Provincial Tourism Promotion Center, and representatives from various agencies and departments. Representing Tan Cang – Petro Cam Ranh Company Limited were Colonel Nguyễn Tuấn Anh – Chairman of the Board of Members, and Lieutenant Colonel Đặng Anh Diệp – Director of the company.
Following the success of late 2024 in successfully welcoming two cruise ships, Coral Princess and Spectrum of the Seas, to Cam Ranh International Port with over 9,000 passengers and crew, Cam Ranh International Port actively worked with shipping lines, agents, and travel companies from the very beginning of 2025 to organize the reception of 5-star international cruise ships to Khánh Hòa. As of now, 11 cruise ships have registered to call at Cam Ranh International Port in 2025, with plans for more in the near future. The successful reception of the RIVIERA marks a new step in the development of Cam Ranh International Port in 2025, contributing to the growth of Khánh Hòa’s tourism industry in general and the production and business activities of Cam Ranh International Port in particular. The event was widely reported and promoted by Khánh Hòa Television (KTV) and most major newspapers.
