On December 13, 2024, the Board of Directors of Cam Ranh International Port, together with leaders from the Khánh Hòa Provincial People’s Committee, the Khánh Hòa Provincial Department of Tourism, ship agents, and travel companies, successfully organized the welcoming ceremony for the 5-star international cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas, which arrived at the port with nearly 6,400 passengers and crew members.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of the Khánh Hòa Provincial People’s Committee were Mr. Trần Hoà Nam – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Phan Đình Phùng – Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism; Ms. Ngô Thị Kim Hoà – Deputy Director of the Provincial Tourism Promotion Center; Mr. Phạm Minh Nhựt – Vice Chairman of the Khánh Hòa Tourism Association; representatives from various agencies and departments; and the Royal Caribbean shipping line. Representing Tan Cang – Petro Cam Ranh Company Limited were Colonel Nguyễn Tuấn Anh – Chairman of the Board of Members, and Lieutenant Colonel Đặng Anh Diệp – Director of the company.

Following the successful event of welcoming the cruise ship Coral Princess on October 23, 2024, with over 3,000 passengers and crew, Cam Ranh International Port attracted significant attention from major international cruise lines worldwide, shipping agents, travel companies, and domestic and international partners and customers. With the determination of the company’s Board of Directors, the support and assistance of the Navy Command, the Khánh Hòa Provincial People’s Committee, the Navy Region 4 Command, the Khánh Hòa Provincial Department of Tourism, and the cooperation and partnership of the shipping line, agents, and travel companies, the ship Spectrum of the Seas was brought to Cam Ranh International Port. This marks a significant milestone in the journey to establish Cam Ranh International Port as the second destination for 5-star international cruise ships in Khánh Hòa in the near future.
