    Cam Ranh International Port

    Tan Cang – Petro Cam Ranh Company Limited was established by two of the country’s leading maritime economic conglomerates: Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) and Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam). Tan Cang – Petro Cam Ranh Company Limited was founded with the core function assigned by the Prime Minister to operate and manage Cam Ranh International Port, aiming to become a maritime service, supply, repair, and shipbuilding center for both domestic and international military and civilian fleets.

    Key Milestones

    Implementing the Resolution of the Party Central Committee on Vietnam's maritime economic development strategy up to 2030, with a vision to 2045, the Government and the Ministry of National Defence assigned Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) to coordinate with Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) to construct an international seaport, a destination for peace in Cam Ranh Bay.

    Cam Ranh International Port holds a strategic location, situated 50 nautical miles from the main shipping lane, connecting directly to the East Sea (South China Sea). It features 2,177 meters of pier space with an average depth of $-20$ meters and is the first port in Vietnam designed to allow safe vessel mooring during storms up to Beaufort Scale 8.
