Khanh Hoa, February 23, 2026 – In the joyful atmosphere of the early spring days of the Year of the Horse, at Cam Ranh International Port, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) solemnly held a welcoming ceremony for the international cruise ship Seven Seas Explorer (belonging to the prestigious Regent Seven Seas Cruises). The ship, bringing nearly 800 high-class tourists from various countries around the world, docked and officially became the first visitor to Cam Ranh International Port in the Year of the Horse 2026.

The docking of the Seven Seas Explorer at Cam Ranh International Port is not only a milestone marking a prosperous “spring opening”, launching a series of vibrant international cruise ship welcoming activities for the locality and the enterprise; but it also strongly spreads the message of a safe, friendly, and culturally rich Vietnam, ready to elevate cruise tourism cooperation in the new era. According to the itinerary, the Seven Seas Explorer is executing a 14-night voyage named “Culinary Escapades in Asia”, departing from Singapore and concluding in Hong Kong, with Cam Ranh International Port being a frequently chosen destination.

Speaking at the event, Colonel Bui Van Quy – Deputy Commander of the 20th Corps, Deputy General Director of SNP, emphasized: “In the past year of 2025, Cam Ranh International Port made a profound mark when it had the honor of welcoming 29 5-star international cruise ships with approximately 50,000 tourists and crew members, becoming a bright spot in the port operations of Tan Cang – Petro Cam Ranh Co., Ltd.”
The operational reality over the recent period serves as vivid proof that Cam Ranh International Port has entirely mastered the process of welcoming large cruise ships, receiving two ships simultaneously or serving ships staying overnight. Ensuring absolute safety for these voyages has affirmed its modern operational capacity, establishing a solid foundation for the Port to be ready to accommodate even larger generations of ships in the future. This reflects the professional management and coordination between the Port and relevant authorities, while simultaneously enhancing Cam Ranh’s appeal to the high-end resort tourism segment.

From the beginning of 2026 to the present, Khanh Hoa Province has welcomed 19 international cruise ship voyages (of which Cam Ranh International Port welcomed 13), with over 30,000 tourists going ashore for sightseeing. According to the registration schedules of the cruise lines, the locality is expected to welcome 29 additional international ship voyages in 2026.
Notably, ship welcoming activities are always meticulously organized, ensuring 100% schedule accuracy with no delays or cancellations. The passenger transfer process is conducted swiftly and safely even under adverse weather conditions, earning high praise from cruise lines and tourists alike.

With the motto of always accompanying customers, SNP is committed to delivering flawless experiences and unforgettable impressions to international tourists upon setting foot in Vietnam.
Following this success, in the Year of the Horse 2026 and the ensuing years, a series of the world’s most modern international cruise ships have registered to dock at Cam Ranh International Port. This positive signal indicates that the Port will soon become a central destination, an indispensable link on the cruise tourism map of Vietnam and the region. Thereby, it continues to affirm its role in connecting and boosting the tourism economy, while effectively promoting the “5th Business Pillar” and demonstrating the diversity and synchronization within SNP’s service ecosystem.
