Colonel Bùi Văn Quỳ – Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) gives a speech.
Colonel Bùi Văn Quỳ provided the delegates with an overview of SNP. He highlighted that despite significant impacts from global and domestic economic fluctuations and slow growth in 2023, Saigon Newport successfully completed its production and business targets, maintaining growth across all indicators and contributing over 2.1 trillion Vietnamese Đồng (VND) to the state budget. SNP also actively participated in social welfare and charitable activities, such as supporting over 400 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and martyrs’ relatives across 18 provinces/cities; gifting 200 houses of gratitude; providing hundreds of scholarships for disadvantaged students; and contributing an annual average of over 50 billion VND to the “For the Poor” Fund in various localities.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyễn Tuấn Anh – Chairman of the Board of Members of TCPC gives a speech.
Also at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyễn Tuấn Anh – Chairman of the Board of Members of TCPC, presented the development potential and core services that Cam Ranh International Port has been and is currently deploying. With the support and assistance from the Provincial People’s Committee, Khánh Hòa provincial departments, Navy Command, SNP, Navy Region 4 Command, and the partnership of customers and partners, Cam Ranh International Port will focus on developing the following services in the near future: seaport services, logistics services, stevedoring services, supply services, agency services for foreign military vessels, alongside repair services for military and civilian vessels, serving as a technical logistics base for oil and gas/wind power projects, and welcoming 5-star cruise ships. The goal is to establish Cam Ranh International Port as a major logistics service center for Khánh Hòa province and the South Central-Central Highlands region. He also informed the delegates that Cam Ranh International Port successfully won the international bid to be the ship agent for the USS BLUE RIDGE—a large-scale US Navy vessel scheduled to call at the Port on July 8, 2024. Winning the bid to be the ship agent for the US Navy serves as a premise for TCPC to increase its participation in bidding for military ship agency services for Navies visiting Vietnam globally. This is one of the core services that TCPC is currently focused on implementing.
