Singapore Navy Ship Arrives at Cam Ranh International Port

On the morning of August 19, the Endurance-class landing ship RSS Persistence of the Singapore Navy, captained by Major Hu Junjie Daniel, docked at Cam Ranh International Port, commencing a courtesy visit to Khánh Hòa Province from August 19 to August 23, 2025.
Attending the welcoming ceremony were Colonel Nguyễn Hải Châu, Deputy Chief of Staff of Navy Region 4; leaders of the Khánh Hòa Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs; and the Khánh Hòa Provincial Military Command. Representing Tan Cang – Petro Cam Ranh Company Limited was Lieutenant Colonel Đặng Anh Diệp, Director of the company.

The visit by the Singapore Navy ship contributes to enhancing cooperation, mutual understanding, and trust between the armed forces of Vietnam and Singapore in general, and the Navies of the two countries in particular. During the visit, the ship’s command group paid courtesy calls to the leaders of the Khánh Hòa Provincial People’s Committee, Navy Region 4 Command, and the Naval Academy. The ship’s crew participated in a young officer exchange seminar and sports exchanges with officers and cadets of the Naval Academy, as well as engaging in local cultural tours.

  

In executing the ship welcoming plan, Cam Ranh International Port coordinated effectively with relevant units and functional agencies such as the Ministry of National Defence’s Foreign Relations Department, Navy Region 4 Command, Customs, Border Guard, Maritime Administration, and Ship Agents to ensure the quality of services provided to the vessel, as well as the successful execution of reception and foreign affairs activities at the port. Since 2016, Cam Ranh International Port has welcomed 111 naval ships from 15 countries to the port. It is anticipated that from August 27 to August 30, Cam Ranh International Port will continue to welcome a naval ship from Brunei for a courtesy visit.
